Me, Bri, & the Fern

This piece is for my submission to The 2019 Moment Invitational Film Festival. The one rule for the festival is simple: everything must be shot on a phone. Synopsis: Bri and I decide to move across the country after 3 months of non-stop work and saving. We buy a fern to drive with us.

Bum One: Episode 1

Bum One is a series of six short films that intertwine the lives of ordinary people through a very common habit: smoking cigarettes. Each short film consists of two people bonding over a cigarette at a very specific time in their lives, and how that conversation changes the course of their given path.

ONE SECOND EVERYDAY

During the Spring of 2016, I studied abroad in London. The entire trip was made possible through a GoFundMe page where friends, family, and even GoFundMe donated towards my trip. This video was a thank you to all my supporters, for it truly was an experience that allowed me to grow as a filmmaker.

My First Edit

In 2008, I made my first edit. It was a slideshow of my dog, Baloo, I had composed using Windows Movie Maker, which at the time was revolutionary for me. It by no means is a special slideshow, in fact it is quite average. But nonetheless, this video was the first step I had made towards making a film. It may not be up to the standards of my other work, but to deny its monumental impact on me felt unjust. Therefore, please enjoy this fossil of an edit while you still can.
